Thank God for Moms!

Ok, I dont have a picture to post yet for this message, but I just need to give thanks to God for awesomely meeting my needs...not just physically, but emotionally (socially). Since my besty (Margo) moved to Oklahoma this past Feb. I have been really praying for God to "send" me some new mommy friends with the same "family" situation as me--as in a young mom with a new baby. As always, God is FAITHFUL! I have just been amazed lately at all of the moms that I have had the opportunity to meet. I have been spending more time with women in our church (that I had not spent much time with before) and have also been getting to know a friend that Margo set me up with--Heidi. Through Heidi I have found this new Moms group--check out the link on the side column--This group is just so cool! They are the women we had the play date with last Friday at the library. Today I met up with 6 of them and their babies for a trail hike through the wood trails at Colby College! It was a blast we had the babies in back packs and front packs and moby wraps--it was cute! One of the ladies took a picture--I will post that when she sends it! After the hike we went to a smoothie place on campus and sat and talked and drank smoothies! The babies had fun too! Yeah! I have also been loving the YMCA! I have now met three new moms there. One today has twin boys that are just a month younger than Katy. We will be doing lots with these women Im sure! I know we are going to meet one of them at the open pool time tomorrow! Ok, Katy is getting ready for some dinner, so that is all for now..I just wanted to say how great our God is!
