So I know it has been forever since I have posted anything--and I still dont have too much to "write home about." We have just been keeping busy with our mom's group and new playdates inside :( to replace our Colby hikes on Thursdays. As well, myself and some of the moms will be meeting with the Waterville library in a couple of weeks to decide what kinds of changes they can make so that we can have our "fun fridays" closer to home rather than having to drive out to Augusta. (Which will be great--seeing as how gas is stinkin $3.15 right now--let me just take a moment to say--what the HECK!! ok, moving on...) We are also going to be hosting a playgroup at our house on Mondays now, so Im sure Ill have some cute pictures to post latter this week.
Other than the usual, I have just been doing a lot of thinking lately (and no-it did not hurt!--yeah I can read your mind!) Anyways, I have just been thinking about how amazing God is. I mean, it was just three years ago (on Dec 1) that we moved to Maine...just three years ago that I cried my eyes out to leave home...just three years ago that I experienced my first Maine winter (can you say burrrr)...just three years ago that I had no friends and little family (gotta love the Klinkers) to surround myself with....and now...Here we are--Mommy, Daddy, and Baby (thank you God)! A happy family in a wonderfully cozy loving home(thank you God), surrounded by friends (thank you God) and family (thank you God). You see, while I will always be a Texan deep down, I am proud to now be a Mainer, to do Mainer things, to know the wonderful "REAL" people of Maine. God has blessed us with an amazing Church family, and I honestly dont know what I would be doing up here with out them. They feel like --no scratch that--they ARE our family! I am so grateful for the friendships and love that they have shown us. They have helped us to call Maine HOME! :)
Warm fuzzies for everyone! Hooray! Ok, now I gotta go watch some trashy tv or eat a bunch or chocolate...things are getting too mushy! Hehe! ;)
oh...just so you dont feel jipped---here are a couple of cute pictures of Katy's BAD hair day! Hahah--oh and yes--that is chocolate on her tray--but dont judge--it was like 2 chips and she ended up eating 5 strawberries! :) (everyone knows fruit negates chocolate!)
