Drop it like its hot...

OK that title was just wrong! Anyways, it was all I could think of! I meant to get on here Tuesday to update on our progress, but have been wayyyy too busy! The house is organized and ready for baby- clothes washed diapers stocked and stacked, co-sleeper is set up, house is fully decorated, ALL presents are purchased, wrapped, and mailed, Katy's Christmas party crafts are "pre-assembled" and the goodies are baked, the homemade caramel corn is made, tinned, and given to the pastors and letter carrier (that is what they call the mail man here), the Angel Tree gifts are wrapped and the kids are practiced out on Silent night and happy birthday to Jesus, party decorations are ready along with brand new St. Nicolas veggie tale movie....and...if yo thought I was done--wrong! I still need to bake 75 cupcakes (gonna let the kids decorate those, so at least I dont have to frost them, too!), make one final run to the dollar tree (been there 2 or 3 times already this week...soooo embarrassing!!), hit up hannaford, make some chex mix, one more batch of popcorn (Tim ate an entire gallon size ziploc bag of the stuff I made yesterday--last night!! Now I need more for the party!!) monkey bread, oh, and one of my good friends brother in law died two days ago and I am organizing the food for the service afterwards (the mommies group is (or are??) going to help make all the food and I will set up--dont worry- I signed myself up to do all the paper goods! Too much baking going on in here!). Sooo....I guess what I am saying is...my doctor my be right. (Go figure). About what you say? Well, Johnny boy has REALLY dropped (hence the title)--he is at -1 station (you start of at -4, 0 is ready to push) and I am pretty well effaced (cervix has gone from 5cm long to 1cm), but still only a tiny bit dilated! :( Dr. George says it is probably because I am stressing over it and because I have plans for the next few weeks and my mind is telling my body to wait til we are "done". Great...what a catch 22. I am totally wanting to hold my baby! 38 weeks is a long time to wait--esp after having been pregnant before and loosing that baby--I have had to wait all year for this boy!! I am ready!! Did you hear me body!! I AM READY!! I am just trying to fill the time in between so it goes faster...oh yeah..and because I have a children's ministry to take care of...and a family...and a house..and Christmas...and....oh crud..here I go again! Like I said--I AM READY!Perhaps we could "schedule" some progress for next Monday?? ;)
