HE WALKS!!

John turned 9 mo yesterday and started walking today :) He took 4 steps in a row this morning! He has done it a few times today! He is getting sooo big! He is also working on cutting his top two teeth, so in a few days we should have four! He waves hello and bye bye all the time and turns off the light switch when we leave a room. He babbles up a storm and thinks the dog is hilarious! :) Katy is his best friend, but Mommy is still his favorite--can you blame him? hahah! ;) He is one of the snuggliest kids ever and everyone thinks he is so friendly. Seems to have big feet and hands for his age?? Weighs in a 17lbs 5 oz. Super skinny and long just like Daddy :) He understands the words book, sister, mama, dada, ball, doggie, drink, snack, monkey, lion, and of course--no, oh and the commands "give me a kiss", "turn off the light", and "come here"! He is always on the move! Still nursing!! Hoooray! And eating three big meals a day allong with a couple of snacks. He loves to feed himself and hasnt found many foods that he doesnt like...actually, the only one I can  think of so far is a black bean--weird seeing as though I LOVE them and eat them all the time...you would think he woudl acquire a taste for them? So...that is about it for now...we are getting super excited to see all the Texas family in November...only 2 more months!! He should be running by then! ;) ahahh!
