Breakfast...a messy job- but somebodys gotta do it!

This morning I branched out and tried a new breakfast for Miss Katy....Cream of Wheat! My mom used to make it for my sisters and me and we loved it, so I thought maybe she would like it, too. Sure enough! She was gobbling it down! Yeah!! Of course she had to have some wild Maine blueberries too (have I said lately how much I LOVE Maine!! --somebody remind me of that in March! haha) Anyways, it has been so hard lately to find food that she will eat--she knows she is too big for baby food, but still isn't ready to eat everything big people eat...last night she did eat some grilled chicken and --you guessed it--corn (yes I know we eat a lot of corn--Tim is worse than Katy when it comes to getting veggies in, so I am limited to what I serve! hahah). It is just so fun to watch her eat. She looks like a little person , and she keeps us laughing with the faces and dramatics! Haha--like mother like daughter I guess! :) Or monkey see monkey do!
