Long time, no post...

I realize it has been a while since my last post, and you were probably staring to wonder what happened to poor Katy. (When we left off she was so sick)....well, she got better (duh) and I got sick :( That took up another week and a half--seriously--the longest cold ever! Eerrrr!!! Oh well, we are on the mend now and Christmas is just days away! Yippie! So keep checking the blog, cause you know I am gonna put a zillion Katy Christmas pics up soon! In the mean time check out what she has been up to this week....

Katy starting to feel better Monday night, but still needing a little extra TLC...
So happy together....
Even with snot dripping down her face she's pretty cute! Ooh, and so is Daddy!! Huba Huba!!
Back to the show...
Latter in the week, someone must have been board (or is it bored??) because she began playing with....welll.....a potty...???"Hummm....what exactly do you do with this thing?"Oh, wait...I know what to do!!Just a little bit higher...Perfect! I knew it would fit!
Check out the videos (yes there are two videos--this was just to priceless!) and no there is not sound--yes I know I keep saying I need to fix that-sorry

After my baby was playing with her potty I figured I better help her find some kind of new way to amuse herself.....

so...I took her over to play with her rocking giraffe...

Look at the last picture I have of her on it....I think she was about 4 months here...
Now look how big she is!! 17mo! Can you believe it??"Ohh...this is fun!!!"
Then we decided to open a present from Nonnie and Poppy! This video is one of three--it took her forever to open that thing--it had so many layers of paper! Anyways, here you go Nonnie.

Dialing Nonnie's number...Why hello, Nonnie, how are you?Oh that's nice...so how is Poppy?

This afternoon she got to join me for some cookie making! "Hey Nana--Mom FINALLY let me use the cookie cutters you gave me in SEPTEMBER!!" Want some?Look how cute they turned out! The kids are going to decorate them tomorrow at the Birthday Party for Jesus at church! :)
