My little girl!

Katy has been an extra set of hands in the kitchen these past few days! She just loves cooking, but Im not sure who enjoys it more--I have been looking forward to this since I found out I was having a girl. :) We just scoot a chair right up to the counter and she goes to town! Recently, she has helped me to make cookies, pancakes, and even pizza! She loves for me to put herbs in her hands so she can "sprinkle" them on (they all end up in one spot, but its so cute I can live with it!) She is also getting pretty good at helping me clean. Right after cooking with her I needed to do some floor duty--she is not the neatest chef--so she grabbed her mop and got busy right beside me! I just love her! She has also been good at helping me pick up her toys. This morning I told her to help me pick up her room so we could go eat our breakfast. She started putting Potato Heads into their bucket and animals in their baskets....I was even helping--until she noticed that I had put a cow in the wrong basket! "No Cow," She said shaking her head! Haha! She then put him in the animal basket and went back to putting the other toys away! I wanted to test this a bit more, so I took the Potato glasses and put them in the animal basket. She saw it and said "No". Then she put them in the potato bucket! Thats my girl!!! :) Oh yeah, speaking of that's my girl...The other morning Katy was watching Little Einsteins. One of the characters is a dancer and was teaching the "audience" how to do an arabesque. Of course my 22 mo. old kid acts like she has been a dancer for years and goes "besc" and lifts her little leg--hands out all proper! :) Then she says "twul" and turns! I can even say Katy "tap", and she will do a little stomp move!! The kid can DANCE!! And she LOVES it!! We are definitely signing her up for tap and ballet in the fall! I soooo cant wait!!! I am just so thankful that the LORD gave me exactly what I asked Him for! My Daddy is soo good to me!! Ok, enough talk...here are the pictures! Video of the ballerina to follow!

"Now lets see...I need some flour...." "Now Ill just mix it up.... "
"Cut faster Mom!"
"Ok, now get outta my way""Just a smidgen of this"
Cleaning up the mess!Happily working!
