This is a very quick little post...no pictures...I just have to write this stuff down (ok, type it) before I forget. Katy is soooooo stinking cute I dont know what to do with myself. :) She is such a ham! I must say about 10 times a day--she is two--how does she know that??
Ok, so here are some of the funny things she has said lately...
Katy: I want my Mommy! I want my mommy! I want my mommy (in a two year old whinny kinda voice).
Daddy: Yeah, well I want a million dollars
Me (in the other room--to myself): Tim--she is two--she doesnt understand what you are saying...
Katy: I cant help Daddy (reaching into her pockets) I cant have no money! (in the sweetest little voice shaking her head no).
A few weeks ago she started asking for different stuff a lot and adding "please please please" (hands in the "praying pose" head tilted to the side, sweetest little voice ever). I thought it was really cute....
Then...she starts adding "just a little bit" (ex: I want a snack mommy...please please please...just a little bit) with her index finger and her thumb held out so I could see how little she was talking.
Then...she got even cuter (does that say cute-er or cut-er??) and adds to that "just a teeny weeny little bit"....all together--"I want to watch Tinter (tinker) Bell Mommy...please please please...just a teeny weeny little bit" OH MY GOSH!! How do you say no to that???
What else??
Oh-- I took her with me to Bath and Body last week and I let her pick out a foam soap from the kids line. She was so proud she had to show Daddy as soon as he got home. So she runs over to him (soap in hand) and says "Look Daddy! Mommy buy me soap for clean my butt!" (all while swirling her little hips!!) Ahhh!!! We were both rolling on the floor! I swear...I wash the rest of her body at night too! ;) hahah
She has also been funny when I get her up in the morning lately. I give her a kiss and she says "You turn me into a frog mommy"! What a character!
And finally, the reason I got on here just now....
Tim and I just finished dinner (Katy ate early and was in the playroom--right off the kitchen--watching Peter Pan). Katy, wearing a cowboy hat, leans over the baby gate and waves her hand at us and says "Howdey Pahtnuhs" (this cracks me up for many reasons--one--this is such a Texas thing--but even more so because she said it like a Maineuh!! hahahahahah) Ok, so then she gallops off and says "Ye-ha cowguls". Once again I find myself saying "she is two?? what the heck??" and once again Tim and I are on the floor.
So these may be some of those "funnier when you were there" moments, but right now I am just so glad to be back at home with my girl and enjoying every funny little thing she does! Isnt she the greatest!! I love her so much! :) mmmmm
