That is not a 3 year old!

So lately Katy has been amazing me with her understanding of the English language. She not only knows words that amaze me (um..hexagon), she also understands how to be sarcastic! Do they learn that at 3??

For example: Mommy- "Katy clean up your room" Katy-"But that is sooo boring" (eyes rolling).

or

Katy- "Are we going to church now?" Mommy- "Not yet. First we have to eat breakfast and play. Then mommy will get you dresses and we will go." Katy -"That take a hundred years" (once again eyes rolling!)

and our new favorite from last night a dinner

Daddy and Mommy- "EAT YOUR DINNER!! NOW!!" Katy "OK People!" (Eyes rolling-of course).

Im serious! Where does all that come from? I dont say "Ok People!" hahah! She is just so funny. Tim and I tried our very hardest not to laugh as she said this--after all we had been sitting at the table for about 20 mins. at this point and she had eaten one carrot!

Oh and one other cute thing--She loves to rub my belly and talk about "her" baby. The other day at lunch she says to me:
"Why your belly getting so big" (thanks a lot)
"Because the baby is getting big"
"Her swimming around in there? And the Dr. gonna take her out?"
"Yes the baby is swimming around in there. But its not ready to come out yet."
"When the leaves fall off?"
"Yep. Say hi to the baby"
"Hi Baby. I you big siser"

Soooooooo sweet!! I just love it!! She will be great!
